Photographed at the house
The house & the courtyard
Terracotta sits inside an old Telavi stone house with a leafy, slightly wild courtyard — old trees, a wrought-iron balcony, brick walls soft with age. These photographs are real, taken at the house.

All interior and courtyard photographs on this page show the real apartment, photographed at the house.
The Apartment
Rooms & spaces

Bedroom one
Old ceiling beams, an arched window onto the courtyard green and a bed made for deep sleep after long Kakhetian days.

Bedroom two
The rust-red hanging, the chandelier and a curious old stone niche give the second bedroom a mood of its own.

Two bathrooms
Two bathrooms — one with a walk-in shower set against the original stone wall.

The kitchen
Old masonry, a long counter and everything you need for real cooking — market produce from Telavi's bazaar deserves it.

The entrance corridor
Tiled floors, paper lanterns and a stone arch overhead — the house greets you before the rooms do.

The fortress & the mountains
Step outside the gate and the walls of Batonis Tsikhe stand across the street, with the snow-capped Caucasus behind them.
